Kusuri Lithaqua is a completely natural product and is made from calcified seaweed which is high in minerals, trace elements and carbonates. Lithaqua has a porous construction which makes it an ideal biological filter media due to its extremely high surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonise. Kusuri Lithaqua is perfect for raising the KH in soft or acidic ponds making it ideal a PH Buffer to stabilise the PH and stop unwanted PH swings. Lithaqua will act as a PH Buffer effectively for approximately 18 months.
When used in filters, Lithaqua is best placed into a Kusuri Net Sack and rinsed prior to use with a bucket of pond water to avoid damaging ball valve or slide valve rubber seals. Each Kusuri Net Sack holds approximately 5kgs of Lithaqua media
Dosage:
- 1kg of Kusuri Lithaqua treats up-to 100 gallons of pond water.
- 5kg of Kusuri Lithaqua treats up-to 500 gallons of pond water.
- 10kg of Kusuri Lithaqua treats up-to 1000 gallons of pond water.
- 25kg of Kusuri Lithaqua treats up-to 2500 gallons of pond water.
